Mackenzie Crone was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, where her love of books began with a bicycle, a library card, and a book-a-day mother who would fight anyone trying to restrict what Mackenzie read. She has lived in Scotland, England, Morocco, and very briefly southern France, but the Canadian Rockies always manage to call her home. She holds a Bachelor’s in English and Anthropology, a Master’s in Material Cultures & History of the Book, and a Master’s of Library & Information Sciences.
Mackenzie currently resides in southern Alberta on Treaty 7 land, which are the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy, the Tsuut’ina, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations, and the Métis Nation (Regions 5 and 6). She drinks too much coffee, is horribly competitive when it comes to board games, and is represented by the indomitable Helen Lane. Social Media Links: Twitter: @MactheCrone Instagram: @MactheCrone |
