Brittany Carter

 Co-founder/Literary Agent
Brittany Booker Carter is a  Literary Agent and co-founder of The Booker Albert Literary Agency. She has worked with Marisa Corvisiero during her time at the Lori Perkins agency and the Corvisiero Literary Agency. She has a B.A. in English and a minor in journalism from The University of Arkansas at Monticello.

She is looking for novels that keep her up at night and transport her into the pages.
In YA and NA she is looking for well-written contemporary and paranormal romances. In NA she is looking for LOTS of sexual tension, and a sexy demanding hero never hurt anybody!
As for adult works, she's looking for witty contemporary, and slow burning friends to lovers romances.
She's always on the hunt for rich characters and unique plots.
She is a big sucker for happy endings. (She doesn't represent books without a HEA, they make her sad. She believes every person deserves a Happily-Ever-After. Maybe it's just the Disney Princess inside?)
She also has a passion for books set in the south. Bring on those big ole' cowboys, ladies. I'll take any man with a slow, southern drawl!
She has working knowledge of Japanese  and Spanish. Brittany is not looking for memoirs or MG novels at the time.

BRITTANY IS CLOSED TO QUERIES AT THE MOMENT TO CATCH UP AFTER THE HOLIDAYS. WHEN SHE REOPENS SHE WILL POST HERE.

Jordy Albert
Co-founder/Literary Agent
Jordy Albert is a Literary Agent and co-founder of The Booker Albert Literary Agency. She holds a B.A. in English from Pennsylvania State University, and a M.A. from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. She has worked with Marisa Corvisiero during her time at the L. Perkins Agency and the Corvisiero Literary Agency.

Jordy is looking for fun, witty young adult contemporary, particularly sci-fi, and fantasy (romance is a plus). She's also looking for smart, sexy contemporary and historical romance (Jordy definitely has a soft spot for Regency). She’s drawn to strong, intelligent characters, and well-developed friendships. Please note that while it isn’t necessarily a deal breaker, she tends to shy away from novels with trigger topics, such as suicide and any type of abuse. Jordy is NOT accepting picture books, non-fiction or screenplays at this time.

Jen Hunt
***CLOSED TO QUERIES***
Literary Agent
Jen Hunt graduated from the University of Reno, Nevada with an English Literature degree and an unholy fascination with Victorian literature, although contrary to popular belief, she doesn't wear a corset. She does drink way too much coffee and enjoys watching the BBC. Another remake of a Jane Austen classic? Game on! Also happens to be a huge Bioware fangirl - when she has enough time for gaming.

While Jen doesn’t want to limit herself, she is actively seeking:
Historicals: Historical romance, historical time travels, historical fantasy, historical inspirational, historical paranormal, historical mysteries. (Nothing post the 1940s) * Science Fiction/Space Opera – must include world building and well detailed environments. (Prefer a hint of romance) * Fantasy – same as above * Military Sci-Fi *Dystopian/ Post-Apocalyptic * Steampunk/Gaslight/ Diesel-punk/ Cyberpunk - would also prefer some romantic element.

Margaret McCampbell
***Please note Margaret is not currently accepting queries***
Assistant Agent
Margaret McCampbell graduated from Lycoming College with a BA in Creative Writing and two minors in Spanish and Medieval Studies. She’s spent the years since fluttering in and out of bookstores, writing stories of her own, and generally seeking various ways to transport herself into the worlds she reads about. She loves all sorts of caffeinated beverages, classical music, and finding magic in nature.
Margaret enjoys most genres, and is open to anything written beautifully. She wants stories that sweep her off her feet and not put her back down until it’s long over. Diverse books and diverse authors are encouraged, always.
She’s actively seeking:
-Fantasy (Epic, Dark, Historical, the like)
-Young Adult (all)
-Historical Fiction (any time period; a little tired of WWII but if you REALLY think she’d like it, she'll always give it a go!)
-Contemporary and Historical Romance
Unfortunately, she's NOT the best fit for:
-Cop/Detective Mysteries
-Middle Grade and younger
-Nonfiction
