Co-founder/Literary Agent
Brittany Booker Carter is a Literary Agent and co-founder of The Booker Albert Literary Agency. She has a B.A. in English and a minor in journalism from the University of Arkansas at Monticello.

She is looking for novels that keep her up at night and transport her into the pages.

Within romance, she's looking for romantasy, contemporary, and fantasy. Brittany enjoys dark, fantastic retellings of fairytales that are gothic with humorous tones. She'll take these themes in YA, NA, and ADULT. 

Specifically, she would LOVE to see a NA campus romance with cocky athletes, or a small-town romance with many hidden secrets. She loves southern romances with a real country twang. 

Brittany is always looking for unique plots with excellent world-building, especially in her romantasy stories. 

She is open to women's fiction, especially with a southern voice, splashes of historical elements or time travel. 

She is a big sucker for happy endings. (She doesn't represent books without a HEA; they make her sad. She believes every person deserves a Happily-Ever-After. Maybe it's just the Disney Princess inside?)

While she represents all heat levels, she gravitates toward spice more often than closed-door.
