Joanna Lesher is an author and Japanese interpreter living outside Detroit, Michigan. A lifelong fan of horror and the paranormal, she grew up on Stephen King and old episodes of Unsolved Mysteries. She holds an undergraduate degree in anthropology from the University of Michigan and a master’s from Boston University.
Her work has previously appeared in The Female Complaint, a feminist literary anthology from Shade Mountain Press, among other venues. Her goal as a writer is to explore human frailty and resilience against a backdrop of the grotesque. When she isn’t writing, she can be found watching terrible B-movies with her three cats. |
