Madeline (or M.E.) Warthan is a gothic romance author who loves all things dark and moody. Fueled by chaos, she draws on her experiences with OCD to write complex characters and passionate love stories. Madeline thoroughly enjoys reading (too much, probably) and writing fanfiction that has captured the hearts of over a million readers online. If she somehow has a free minute, she’s spending it hosting The Book Room podcast with her besties or studying for her Master’s degree in gothic literature.
 
Madeline was destined to live in Dracula’s castle, but instead lives in Texas with her husband and puppy. She will never turn down a cup of Earl Grey tea or a Tim Burton movie.
