Sabrina Powell is a speculative horror writer who collects rare stuffed animals and watches scary movies with the lights on. A native Texan, she grew up overseas where she found her true home in literature. She received her B.A. in English Literature from Washington University in St. Louis with minors in Psychology and Studio Art.
She has published several short stories in literary magazines, including Short Beasts and Armour Magazine, among other publications. When she’s not writing eerie adult fiction that blurs the line between reality and unreality, she works at one of the largest libraries in her home state. Her debut novel, represented by Haley Warrington, explores grief, belief, and all-consuming obsession through the lens of rural folklore and the Black South. |
