Brittany Booker Carter
Brittany Booker Carter is a Literary Agent and co-founder of The Booker Albert Literary Agency. She has worked with Marisa Corvisiero during her time at the Lori Perkins agency and the Corvisiero Literary Agency. She has a BA in English and a minor in journalism from The University of Arkansas at Monticello.
She is looking for novels that keep her up at night and transport her into the pages. In YA and new adult she is looking for well-written contemporary romances, fantasy romances and sci-fi romances. As for adult works, she's looking for contemporary romances and romantic thrillers. She's always on the hunt for rich characters and unique plots. Brittany is especially interested in new adult that has lots of sexual tension, sexual chemistry or has a demanding hero that'll make the reader swoon. She is a big sucker for happy endings. (She doesn't represent books without a HEA, they make her sad. She believes every person deserves a Happily-Ever-After. Maybe it's just the Disney Princess inside?) She also has a passion for books set in the south. She has working knowledge of Japanese and Spanish.Brittany is not looking for memoirs or paranormal works at the moment.
Brittany is now considering middle grade and erotica.
She is NO longer searching for time-travel novels.
Jordy Albert is a Literary Agent and co-founder of The Booker Albert Literary Agency. She holds a B.A. in English from Pennsylvania State University, and a M.A. from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. She has worked with Marisa Corvisiero during her time at the L. Perkins Agency and the Corvisiero Literary Agency.
*She is interested in fun, witty Middle Grade. Contemporary or action/adventure (think awesome 80s movies).
*YA contemporary romance. Sci-fi, fantasy and thriller/suspense - MUST have romance!
*Smart, sexy contemporary romances with fantastic chemistry between the characters that sizzles right off the pages. She is also looking for Historical Romances (she definitely has a soft spot for a fantastic Regency).
*Like Brittany, Jordy is a sucker for a HEA (please, no sad endings)!
*She’s always looking for strong, intelligent characters (snarky, but still likable).
*Please note that while it isn’t necessarily a deal breaker, she tends to shy away from novels with trigger topics, such as suicide and any type of abuse.
***I'm also considering Picture Books.
***Please do not submit: non-fiction and screenplays.
***I'M ONLY ABLE TO RESPOND TO QUERIES IF I AM INTERESTED.

Steve Mancino is a Literary Agent with The Booker Albert Literary Agency. Previously, he had been an agent with JABberwocky Literary Agency, working alongside Joshua Bilmes in the day-to-day operations of agency while building his own client list. He has made domestic and foreign deals as well as sales for other subsidiary rights. After a hiatus in order to return to Philadelphia, Steve is back and eager to find exciting new projects and authors to work with. He holds a BA in English specializing in Classical and Medieval Literature from St. Joseph’s College in Brooklyn, NY. He also fancies himself The One True King of Westeros and is hoping Ser Davos will finally get it right.
Steve is looking for adult Science Fiction/Fantasy. It’s a very broad term, but he’s interested in most of the sub-genres. He’s NOT considering romance, non-fiction, literary fiction, or YA/children's books at this time.
**AS OF 11/1/2015, STEVE WILL BE CLOSED TO UNSOLICITED QUERIES**
Jen Hunt graduated from the University of Reno, Nevada with an English Literature degree and an unholy fascination with Victorian literature, although contrary to popular belief, she doesn't wear a corset. She does drink way too much coffee and enjoys watching the BBC. Another remake of a Jane Austen classic? Game on! Also happens to be a huge Bioware fangirl - when she has enough time for gaming.
While Jen doesn’t want to limit herself, she is actively seeking
· Historicals – where the characters actually fit in the era. Historical romance, time travels, fantasy, inspirational, paranormal. (Nothing past the 1940s)
· Science Fiction – must include world building and well detailed environments. (Prefer a hint of romance)
· Fantasy – same as above
· Steampunk/gaslight/ Dieselpunk - would also prefer some romantic element.
I will consider a YA in these areas but no sex, rape, or drug abuse (or abuse of any kind).
**AS OF 1/23/2016, JEN WILL BE CLOSED TO UNSOLICITED QUERIES. PLEASE CHECK BACK LATER!**
*Please note our interns are NOT accepting queries at this time. Thanks.
