Brittany Booker Carter
Brittany Booker Carter is a Literary Agent and co-founder of The Booker Albert Literary Agency. She has worked with Marisa Corvisiero during her time at the Lori Perkins agency and the Corvisiero Literary Agency. She has a BA in English and a minor in journalism from The University of Arkansas at Monticello.
She is looking for novels that keep her up at night and transport her into the pages. In YA and new adult she is looking for well-written contemporary romances, fantasy romances and sci-fi romances. As for adult works, she's looking for contemporary romances and romantic thrillers. She's always on the hunt for rich characters and unique plots. Brittany is especially interested in new adult that has lots of sexual tension, sexual chemistry or has a demanding hero that'll make the reader swoon. She is a big sucker for happy endings. (She doesn't represent books without a HEA, they make her sad. She believes every person deserves a Happily-Ever-After. Maybe it's just the Disney Princess inside?) She also has a passion for books set in the south. She has working knowledge of Japanese and Spanish. Brittany is not looking for memoirs or paranormal works at the moment.
Brittany is now considering middle grade and erotica.
She is NO longer searching for time-travel novels.
Jordy Albert is a Literary Agent and co-founder of The Booker Albert Literary Agency. She holds a B.A. in English from Pennsylvania State University, and a M.A. from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. She has worked with Marisa Corvisiero during her time at the L. Perkins Agency and the Corvisiero Literary Agency.
*She is interested in fun, witty Middle Grade. Contemporary or action/adventure (think awesome 80s movies).
*YA contemporary romance. Sci-fi, fantasy - MUST have romance!
*Smart, sexy contemporary romance with fantastic chemistry between the characters that sparks off the pages. She is also looking for Historical Romance (she definitely has a soft spot for a fantastic Regency).
*Like Brittany, Jordy is a sucker for a HEA (please, no sad endings)!
*She’s always looking for strong, intelligent characters (snarky, but still likable).
*Please note that while it isn’t necessarily a deal breaker, she tends to shy away from novels with trigger topics, such as suicide and any type of abuse.

Jen Hunt graduated from the University of Reno, Nevada with an English Literature degree and an unholy fascination with Victorian literature, although contrary to popular belief, she doesn't wear a corset. She does drink way too much coffee and enjoys watching the BBC. Another remake of a Jane Austen classic? Game on! Also happens to be a huge Bioware fangirl - when she has enough time for gaming.
While Jen doesn’t want to limit herself, she is actively seeking: Historicals: Historical romance, historical time travels, historical fantasy, historical inspirational, historical paranormal, historical mysteries. (Nothing post the 1940s) * Science Fiction/Space Opera – must include world building and well detailed environments. (Prefer a hint of romance) * Fantasy – same as above * Military Sci-Fi *Dystopian/ Post-Apocalyptic * Steampunk/Gaslight/ Diesel-punk/ Cyberpunk - would also prefer some romantic element.
* JEN IS CURRENTLY CLOSED TO SUBMISSIONS
Caitlin Hemphill is an aspiring author and literary agent. She is a History major, Psychology and Women's Studies minor, at Georgian Court University, located near the Jersey Shore. Right now, she's creating a Pearl Harbor scrapbook to be dedicated to the Center for World War II Studies and Conflict Resolution at Brookdale Community College. When she's not getting lost in museums and exploring historic sites, in her free time she likes to ice skate, attend theater productions and go to Yankee games.
An avid book reader, she loves Historical, YA and Contemporary fiction. Stories with a mixture of tension, humor and a dash of mystery grab her attention. She looks for heroines who are sassy and independent. An example would be a modernized "Lucy Ricardo". Meanwhile, she prefers her heroes to be humbled and flawed. She would love to see stories set during the American Revolution, Civil War, Roaring Twenties and World War II.
Jessica Baker is a devoted booklover who aspires to work in publishing. She is in college as an English major at a small local college in Texas. Her time mostly consists of reading, writing, and reviewing books for one of the blogs she contributes to. When not doing one of those three things, she is likely singing along (terribly) to whatever song playing on the radio or streaming from her phone, spending some time with her family, or watching whatever managed to capture her attention on TV (best guesses would be The Walking Dead, Shark Tank, or a Yankees game).
When it comes to books, Jessica lives for romance. YA, NA, or Adult doesn't matter so long as the romance is prominent and the story holds her attention. As for genre, Jessica is a paranormal lover at heart with an extra soft spot for shifters. She can be taken by most genres, however, so long as they have enough romance to make her heart flutter. Because overall, Jessica always loves a great love story.
